PhD博士申请面试如何准备及常见问题汇总

如果说海外博士申请，最近紧张刺激的环节是面试应该没有人不同意吧。咱们的套磁文书和材料可以仔细斟酌，反复优化，以最完美的状态呈现给导师。而面试更偏向临场发挥，是你与导师第一次面对面的沟通交流，导师希望通过面对面交流的方式进一步了解、考核申请者的各项能力，申请者也可借助面试机会全方位展现科研学术及交流沟通技能。面试交流有一定的挑战和困难，但也是夯实自身竞争力的绝佳机会。所以难度可想而知。

下面小助手来谈谈如何准备面试，还有面试的常见问题吧~

准备篇

国外导师一般会用Zoom或者Skype跟申请者进行面试。

在面试前，同学们会收到邮件！一般是确定面试的具体时间！

如果刚好那天有事，或者是觉得自己还没有准备好。稍微推迟一下，也是没有问题的~

还有面试一般是20分钟左右，最长不会超过半个小时。

通常来讲，面试会涉及以下三方面的内容👇👇👇

你的学术背景和研究经历

提前准备自我介绍，也可以做一份不超5分钟的PPT，页数控制在15页以内，大致讲讲你之前做过的课题，以及从中掌握到哪些知识和技能。

注意你要用专业terms进行阐述

如果不确定自己的表达是否ok，可以去导师的网站上看看他对自己研究课题的总结，也可以搜索一下导师近些年的publications，然后关注Abstract部分。其中的key words都是导师非常认可的哈。

未来的研究计划

可以跟对方导师协商决定。如果没有提前沟通过，可以先给出一个较为宽泛的研究内容，但要与导师的需求相关联，比如跟导师的研究兴趣非常相近，或者是他未来要在组里开拓的新方向。

互相提问

面试的过程也是一种chat，能跟导师通过互动了解彼此、找到good match是最好的，包括研究思路是否一致、你们的性格是否合得来等等。
