Using theory and examples,



1. After several years of working for a recruitment agency in Brighton, you were promoted to lead a recruitment division in a subsidiary company based in Canada. You were asked to come up with a new HR strategy for this company. Using relevant theory and models, explain how you would do this and what issues you may experience in the design, formation and implementation of a new strategic framework.


2. Discuss the importance of work-life balance to an individual’s well-being and how HR support employees in times of a crisis.


3. Employee relations has replaced industrial relations as the term for the relationship between employers and employees (CIPD, 2021). Evaluate why these relations can break down. Explain what happened, how they were managed and how they were resolved.
